Tuesday we held a Jaycee Membership event at The Back Porch, a local restaurant. It was a good time and the food was terrific --- especially the fried pickles!
Thursday night was "cook at home" night. Once a week, I typically cook and a friend of mine will come have dinner and watch a movie with me and Ben. This week was turkey spaghetti (yummmmyyy!!!) and "Taken" ---great movie!
Friday night was the "usual" for a Friday night with Ben ( we took last week off for the baseball game)....dinner at Pizza Man.
Then today my parents came down to Columbia to celebrate a late birthday for Clay. We introduced them to Casa Linda (awesome Mexican!), shopped for a while and enjoyed the cloudy, cooler weather by walking around the state house grounds. It was great to have them here for the day!

Yummy...Pizza Man! A friend of ours works there. Tell John Hey next time you are there. That is some good pizza, and I hear he's redone the cheesesteak!
