The photographer posted his photos right after I finished my FurBall post. Here was one of the two pics of us!

My Favorite Gala - FurBall!
For the third year in a row we attended Pawmetto Lifeline's FurBall. (At our first one, Glenn bought me my first Christmas present from him in the silent auction --- a signed copy of Pat Conroy's South of Broad.) It wasn't the same this year without his grandmother there, but Belinda and his dad joined us and the Russells for a wonderful evening of food, fun and dancing to Heart and Soul (the same band from our wedding reception!)

Phi Mu Alumnae Fundraiser
Our Phi Mu alumnae chapter held a fundraiser last Friday night to benefit Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. We raised over $1000 and had a blast! I was thrilled that a group of our friends were able to attend. And, that we racked up in the silent auction....Glenn's instructions were to make sure I won the Leatherock bracelet from Ivory Tower as my Valentine's present. He did just that and more --- I also got a turquoise polka dot flat wallet, Maya earrings, and seashell bottle stopper. Additionally, we got an item as a wedding gift for friends with an upcoming wedding and I secured tickets for Columbia Classical Ballet's upcoming Hunchback of Notre Dame performance. We weren't the only ones with winning items though. Peggy, Penny and Hilda all took home goodies!

Afterwards we enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Travinia's with Jan, Sheldon, Jan and Jill.

CMFA Pub Night Anniversary

On February 5th we attended for the third time (and as the second anniversary of our first date) Columbia Music Festival Association's annual Pub Night. This event is always so much fun...great food, people, drawings and the dart contest. This year we took our friends Hiram and Jeri Katherine with us. We all had a great time! Glenn and I made it to round two of the dart contest (we'll be practicing for next year). Unlike in the past Glenn's batch of tickets weren't the big winners (last year he won the grand prize --- one round trip plane ticket). We walked away with one drawing prize....a set of handpainted palmetto tree glasses. Very pretty and appropriate for our growing, unique stemware collection! It was definitely a fun night and celebration of our first two years together!
