A few weeks before going I sent a message to the Boston Alumni Club asking if they knew where we could watch the game....well, they invited us to watch with them at the official Boston "Gamecock" watching place, J.J. Foley's! So, when we got back to Boston, Andrea and I took a cab to meet the guys there and arrived right at the second quarter. Unfortunately we lost but we had a great time with our Georgia friends, other Gamecock fans in the pest industry and the Boston Alumni Club! We were most surprised to learn that JJ Foley's leaves up their Gamecock banners ALL THE TIME!
From there we headed to the place where the Georgia Alumni club gathers to watch most of that game with Rich and Andrea. (Glenn nor I can remember the name!) We left before the end since we needed to be at the airport around 4 a.m. and still hadn't finished packing up.
However, our flight home had a little glitch. One of the flight attendants was injured while prepping the plane and had to be rushed to the hospital for stitches. Our flight was delayed for five hours while I replacement was sought. So instead of being back in SC by early morning, it was after lunchtime.
