Orlando - Day 2 Magic Kingdom

Did you know it takes about 10 years to grow these topiaries?? This one is at the Transportation Center.
On our way to the happiest place on earth...except it was so hot and crowded, it wasn't so happy!

We arrived just as the parade started on Main Street.
First stop, a drink stand! It was HOT!

The parade view from Tom Sawyer's Island ferry.

Inside Injun Joe's cave.
Me an Glenn on Tom Sawyer's Island.
Taking the raft to the island. Don't they look tired??

The lines were way too long to ride!

The only requirement at the Magic Kingdom.....castle pictures! Unfortunately, no one was there to take on of all three of us together.
Casey at Bat!

Yes! It says "Best Girlfriend"! Aww...

Mickey Ears...Ben ended up getting this one and this another of my favorite pictures!

On the shuttle back to ChampionsGate...someone was VERY tired!
Part two of our day was spent at the Magic Kingdom. This was the park I had looked most forward to and I was most disappointed by it. As a matter of fact, all three of us disliked it. Maybe because it was SOOOO hot and SOOOO crowded that it was not a fun experience. And, maybe because Ben is older and this one is more "kiddie", but whatever the reason, we walked through the park, went to Tom Sawyer's Island, visited Mickey and Minnie's houses, took a lot of pictures and got on our shuttle back to ChampionsGate.
Ben and I spent the rest of the evening chilling in the Villa, while Glenn had a dinner with some folks from the conference. (We weren't just there for vacation. He was actually there on business....it was an Academy for Pest Management Professionals. It didn't officially start until Thursday, but he was on some of the leadership things so he had to be at the dinner on Tues and some events on Wednesday as well.)
