Weekend With Ben

Ben was here last weekend and it was quite fun. I took Friday off and he arrived around lunchtime. After grabbing a sandwich, we headed to his school for next year. (Yes, HUGE answer to lots of prayers --- Ben is moving to Columbia over the summer!!) We started his registration and took a tour. Glenn and I had bought him new clothes and he looked so sharp in them!

Right before we went to Hand, he told me he wanted to get his haircut. I couldn't believe it! So, Glenn called his girl and made appointments for both of them. It was unreal how much hair this kid had....Maria definitely earned her money on this cut! We finished Friday with some exchanges/more shopping --Glenn got him a Gamecock outfit and webbed belt -- at Belks and dinner at Casa Linda.

On Saturday we went shoe shopping. Ben came out with four new pair! Then, a stop at Sam's and SteinMart for dress socks and sunglasses. While I paid the boys enjoyed ice cream! We also watched "Avatar". Sunday was church, lunch at Zoe's and resting for the week to come. It was so nice to have Ben here and can't wait for this to be everyday! :)

Glenn had Ben try on a Stone Rose (somewhat like the Robert Graham shirts he wears) shirt, but we couldn't talk him into adding it to his wardrobe!
