This weekend is the second big "kick off" to the holiday season here in Columbia --- The Festival of Trees for Children's Hospital. This year was a little different as it was actually held at the hospital. We really liked it there because it showed where the money raised is going and we actually saw some of the patients with their parents and nurses down enjoying the decorations and entertainment. That was particularly heart-wrenching --- seeing these young patients with their IV equipment or being pulled in wagons because they were too sick to walk.

The trees were, as always, gorgeous and unique. Ben visited with Santa again this year!
